In social networking the first thing is collecting people, after that comes connecting.
In this forum there is a column Replies (usually 0) but not a very essential column Reads.
Now the writer thinks he/she is alone and nobody knows what has been written.
The column Reads would tell f.ex. 6 or 27 and make everyone here see that there is life here, just the interactivity is missing. And when you see activity existing then maybe you are more willing to interact.

Thanks for your post - I am working hard to correct all this "missing interactivity" and do expect to have a more interactive site pretty soon,
One of the things I do not like about Social Netowrks is that you have to find others to invite to your own network - but what if if you didn´t have to invite anyone simply because this would be done automatically? wouldn´t it be nice?
Wait and see -we are going to rock this world, believe me!
You are absolutely correct. I'll even throw in a nickel of support.... "the proof of the pudding is in the eating".
If a person authors something and discovers that quite a few people are reading his/her material on a regular basis, that knowledge of discovery will serve as incentive for the author to continue to share his thoughts and experiences. In fact, if the author knows that he's serving up a good recipe, he will continue to do so and the readers will be back for more.
