Khydra is now a partner of Advanced Systems(IT)

I have the great pride to say that now Khydra Database Services is now a partner of Advanced Systems of Italy, makers of  the SADAS columnar DBMS - we represent them in sales of licenses of SADAS and WEB services for BI applications.

SADAS is a new DBMS aimed at BI applications with a very affordable price and incredible performance in queries on very large data sets.

New DBMS technology will change the way we look at information

Over the past two months I have been looking at the new DBMS models - columnar and correlation DBMSs. You would be surprised to know how much effort and money you can save by using these models to mine on valuable information.

I will be glad to help in case you have any questions. In fact, usage goes well beyond "simple" BI - query and knowledge index engine would also be greatly benefited. This means great advancements

Take a look at new DBMS technology

I mentioned about a correlation DBMS - take a look at Illuminate and tell me your comments.

The site is http://illuminateinc.com - they publish one of the first correlation models known. It is worth the look.

Thanks,

Translation Engines - a real need

@All,

While browsing for members information I looked at one profile which mentioned he is looking for software tools  aimed at people with disabilities and with limited English(effective translation engines). This is a quite limited set of tools, but very important in our data engineering area.

If you know these tools and have some information on the above subjects I would like to know.

Thanks,

Marco

DW Columnar database available for use by small companies

Hello,

I just wanted you to know that I am offering a new BI service in the cloud for very attractive prices for all companies interested, especially the small ones.

For as low as US$450 per year  or US$ 37.5 per month (per million record unit) you can have a complete BI columnar DBMS, up to 90% faster than an Oracle engine, with interfaces to all main BI reporting and querying packages in the market.  We offer full implementation and usage support included in the base price.

Ways to Integrate your contact Lists

Did you know that most Social Networks share the same file format for exporting/importing contacts? LinkedIn,Plaxo, MSN, even Facebook and Exchange have similar if not the same file formats which makes things a lot easier. Try to download your contact lists and compare them using Excel, you will be surprised.

BTW, a bit late with my network, sorry - doing all by myself is a huge task .

New Directions for Data Management

Over the last two months I have been looking at new ways to store, retrieve and consolidate data in high volumes. The columnar and correlation databases came to me as a solution to rearrange the existing data centers as we see them today, making them more effective as information providers for our customers and for ourselves.
The results of these searches are amazing reductions in cost and dramatic speed increases in performance. I am convinced that a new era of super "data cruching" engines is… Continue

Columnar Databases - you´d better take a good look

I have been testing a new columnar DBMS and I am really impressed by the results, and also with the tremendous potential savings in design, added flexibility, connectivity to cheaper reporting tools - in other words, a new beginning for decision support systems - more flexible, simpler to implement and use, much more affordable.
Now it is possible to have real business intelligence with these new "data crunching engines". Nobody is going to slow us down anymore and small companies can face compe… Continue

The Fourth Wave: Operational Efficiency-- Chapter One--> We Must Practice What We Preach

The globe is on the precipice of the fourth wave. There are many who do not see the wave coming. There are many who have heard of this wave, but do not believe that it will take place. There are many who are aware, on a subconscious level that 'something' is on its way, but are not sure on how to prepare for it. Consequently, when the wave arrives on our shores, one way or the other, many of us will be washed away.

When the Operational Efficiency wave washes across the globe, it will come like… Continue
